FAQ’s

When should I arrive for my appointment? We encourage that all guests arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This allows time for parking, the check-in process, retail shopping, and changing into appropriate attire.

What should I expect before my facial appointment? For your visit, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will allow enough time to change into spa attire and to discuss your skin needs. Your privacy and comfort are of the utmost importance to us. Spa treatments require various levels of undress, and our service providers are trained in appropriate methods of draping. Although your service provider will provide a complete overview of the treatment you will experience, please feel free to ask any questions or make special requests to ensure your own comfort level.

What should I wear to my hair appointment? We do our utmost to protect you and your belongings during your visit. Color smocks are provided for your services to provide protection for your personal belongings against any staining or water that may occur during your appointment. Our smocks are laundered after each use. Rituals Salon & Spa is not responsible for any stained clothing or belongings. Avoid clothing and accessories such as hoodies, jackets, collared shirts, turtlenecks, scarves, and big earrings or necklaces.

How do I schedule an appointment? Our Guest Service Coordinators are available during business hours for all of your scheduling needs. Our services are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-booked appointments are suggested to guarantee your desired date and time. We do accept walk-ins and same-day appointments upon availability. You may also book an appointment online with us for select services.

What is your cancellation policy? All services are required to have a card on file at the time of booking. We ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if it is necessary to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If you cancel within that 24-hour window, your card on file will be charged 50% of the booked appointment. If the appointment is a no-call no-show, your card on file will be charged 100% of the missed appointment. We have a 10-minute grace period; if you are later than 10 minutes, your appointment may be forfeited, and you will be considered a no-show and charged 100% of the missed appointment. We understand that unexpected things happen. Please inform our Guest Service Coordinators as soon as possible of a cancellation or reschedule at no charge to you. There are no refunds, and any cancellation fee will not be put towards any future appointments.

What if I am running late to my appointment? Busy schedules and unforeseen events often force you to arrive late. We promise to make our best effort to fit your service into the schedule. Please give us a call to let us know you’re running late. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may have to modify your service or have another available service provider complete your service. Any later and your appointment may be forfeited, and you will be considered a no-show and charged 100% of the missed appointment.

Can I bring visitors or children to my appointment? As a courtesy to our staff and clients, we ask that all guests have an appointment. As a safety measure for your child, it is your responsibility to monitor them at all times. Children under the age of 12 without an appointment are to be accompanied by an adult. Children may not, for any reason, be allowed in the spa area unless they are receiving a service.

What is your cell phone policy? We promise a relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests. We encourage guests to silence all cell phones, and please keep conversations private and be respectful of all guests.

Do you guarantee your services? Rituals Salon & Spa guarantees every service performed. We’ll always do our best to make it right! All services for which the client is unhappy are eligible for a complimentary redo by the same service provider, at the discretion of the management team. Please contact us within 7 days of the services being rendered. Services are not eligible for refunds, only redos.

What is your return policy? Retail purchases made with credit or debit cards may be refunded within 1 week of purchase. If past the one-week period, or if purchases were paid with cash or check, we will be happy to exchange or issue a store credit for that amount. All Jane Iredale makeup, brushes, special orders, and appliance sales are FINAL. No refunds or exchanges past 30 days.

How can I leave my service provider a tip? The highest compliment we can receive is the referral of a family member or friend. However, if you wish to leave a gratuity, envelopes are available at the front desk for cash or check or can be added to your credit card transaction.

How can I purchase a gift card? Rituals Salon and Spa gift cards make the perfect gift for everyone! They are available at the front desk or on our website. Gift cards can be used for payment for services and retail. Gift cards cannot be used for gratuities. Gift card sales are final and take 24 hours to process.

Do you allow animals? The only animals allowed in the facility are service animals—dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

What is a Green Fee? By working together to understand the links between our actions and their consequences on the planet, the green fee aids in redirection, recycling, and repurposing once destined for landfill. For every appointment, a green-fee charge of $2.00 will be added to any service total over $15.00.
