There are a select few, however, who believe that it is never too late to turn a big dream into a stunning reality. Rituals, a full service salon and spa located in The Shoppes at Bellgrade at 11400 Huguenot Road in Midlothian, has painted this picture perfectly clear for owners Sheri and Pete Polignone. The grand opening of Rituals has helped prove that their dream was much more than a vision and they want to share it with you.


What sets Rituals Salon-Spa apart from other area salons is not just its beautiful surroundings, but also the multi-talented staff and its commitment to providing its clients with a soothing and relaxed salon and spa experience. Its uniqueness begins with its feng shui inspired design and the name “Rituals”.

Both Pete and Sheri come from very large families, which have always embraced many family traditions and rituals. Pete always paraphrases and lives by words his grandmother told him when he was younger. “You have to embrace and understand who you are and what you have become if you want to go forward.” These words are part of our family glue. They have provided us with structure and have given us the foundation to grow. “Once we decided that the time was right to mentally, physically, and emotionally handle opening our own business, we knew it had to be named ‘Rituals’, since tradition and family rituals are such an important element of our own family,” Sheri added.

Our goal is to ensure that you completely enjoy your time with us! The following tips will help you to make the most of your time at Rituals Salon-Spa:

First Time Guests

We encourage all new guests to arrive fifteen minutes before the first appointment. This allows time for:
  • A warm welcome and tour of our salon
  • An overview of our services
  • Completing a new guest profile to help us serve you

Spa Etiquette

Your privacy and comfort are of the utmost importance to us. Spa treatments require various levels of undress and our therapists are trained in appropriate methods of draping. Although your therapist will discuss a complete overview of the treatment you will experience, please feel free to ask any questions or make special requests to ensure your own comfort level.

Cancellations

We kindly ask Rituals Salon-Spa guests to cancel 24 hours in advance so we may schedule other guest services. We understand emergency situations happen and we will make every effort to accommodate your requests. Guests may be asked for a credit card number to reserve appointments. Gift cards are also an acceptable form of reserving appointments and deductions will be made accordingly.

Children

We love them and are happy to serve them as well. For the safety of your child, children are not allowed in the hairstyling area unless they are having services performed and they must be attended when in the spa and restrooms. We expect our adult guests to supervise their children. Our guests expect a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere while they receive their Salon and Spa services.

Cell Phones

We promise a relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests. We encourage guests to turn off or silence all cell phones.

Redos/Adjustments

If any guest is dissatisfied with their service, we would love the opportunity to make it right. All redos must be scheduled within 1 week of the original appointment and we ask that the appointment is scheduled with the same technician. If calling and scheduling after the 1 week period, there may be an additional charge associated with that service.

Product Return Policy

All purchases may be returned within 1 week of purchase due to an allergic reaction or if you are simply dissatisfied with the results. After 1 week, you must consult with the proper professional to exchange products. All electrical and Jane Iredale purchases are final.

Arriving Late

Busy schedules and unforeseen events often force you to arrive late. We promise to make our best effort to fit your service into the schedule. If you are more than ten minutes late, we may have to modify your service or have another available technician complete your service. Any later and we may have to cancel the service or reschedule you for another time.

Gratuities

The highest compliment we can receive is the referral of a family member or friend. However, if you wish to tip your technician, envelopes are available at the front desk.
